In India, we celebrate a festival called Deepawali (deep-aa-va-lee), also called Diwali (dee-va-lee). While its traditionally celebrated by lighting earthen lamps, it is also celebrated by bursting crackers in its modern day form. It usually comes during the months of October or November – this year, we seem to be celebrating it early. 21 low intensity ammonium nitrate based bombs have been found in Surat,Gujrat over the past 2 days (28th July-30th July) just over 24 hours after explosions went of in Bnagalore,Karnataka. A total of close to 25 bombs have rocked our country in less than a week. We as a nation are the fastest at wiping away the blood from our hands and moving on. For a nation so broken and corrupt, we are the very best at recovering from tragic incidents and losses. To add to troubles we are at tenterhooks with our neighboring countries facing maximum insurgency and terrorist attacks. Following the recent cease-fire violation committed by Pakistan we hoped that some sort of national emergency would be called for , but instead we have the opposition politicians accusing the ruling government of conspiracy. No doubt that is very well possible, and if it were ever to be reveled, we would still not be bothered. We as a nation are extremely strong. We laugh at the measly attempts of the terrorist for nothing can ever move us. We fall, we brush ourselves and move on. Any other country by now would have its president and defense forces shitting and howling in an attempt to pick on the next country an attempt annihilate it. India has always followed the principles laid down by of on the greatest men to talk her soil, Mahatma Gandhi – the teachings of non-violence. So we can get bombed, hijacked, conspired against, be neck deep in debts – nothing will dampen our spirits. We move on, without saying a word…
